It is time to start preparing your college essays. To help you get started in the right direction, we are providing this free workshop to all students on either of our comprehensive programs.

If you are not on a comprehensive program, you may still participate. See details below about registration and fee.

SFC Admissions Specialist Mary Pat St. Jean will lead the workshop. Mary Pat has been an admissions officer at NYU and Providence College. She has read thousands of essays as an admissions professional and as an Independent Education Counselor. She will focus on the following key areas:

·  What admissions officers are really looking for in your essays

·  Brainstorming your essay theme

·  Discussion of topics you should almost never use!

·  Evaluating successful personal statements and supplemental essays

For current SFC Class of 2023 families on either of our comprehensive programs, this workshop is included in your scope of services. There is NO CHARGE for you.

For other SFC Class of 2023 families, you may enroll your student. The fee is $275.
